Over the last 6 months Dobbs have fitted our whole house with curtains and blinds. We have had neat pleats on the bi-fold doors and french doors, motorised curtains, motorised blinds with pelmets and also cushions. The whole team have been amazing, and the quality is exceptional. Wave Heading Curtain. Our most contemporary luxury curtain option. This heading gives a perfect uniform fold all of the time and is installed on a curtain track or pole with compatible wave carriers. Wave curtains are an extremely popular choice, particularly over large expanses of glass such as bi-fold or sliding doors, or in front of floor-to-ceiling windows or doors. A wave curtain delivers neat, contemporary window dressing and looks very stylish.
Pinch Pleat Curtains. The most luxurious heading available for the real wow factor. Our triple-pinch pleat luxury curtains are made to the highest traditional standards. Pinch pleat curtains are extremely popular for a polished and elegant window dressing. The pleats are permanently sewn into the top of the curtains and are separated by flat sections of fabric. Triple-pinch pleat curtains can work well in both modern and traditionally styled rooms.
Eyelet Curtains. Are extremely popular for contemporary room design. The folds on the eyelet mean they deliver a slimmer stack back to a more traditional curtain heading, which is ideal if space is limited on either side of the windows for the curtains to stack on. Eyelet curtains can only be used on a curtain pole and are available with several eyelet colour options. The eyelet option is best for floor-length curtains.
Pencil Pleat Curtains. This is an ideal luxury curtain style for any space. A pencil pleat curtain is made by sewing a pencil pleat heading tape onto the back of the curtain. The pleats are then formed by gathering the curtain fabric. A pencil pleat curtain can be hung from a curtain pole or track and is a popular choice for all rooms in a home. If you're after a more relaxed final look, this is the style for you.

How long do curtains take to be fitted?

Our general lead time for hand-made curtains is 4-6 weeks.

Will you fit the curtain pole?

We supply and install all types of curtain poles and tracks.

Can I have black-out linings on my curtains?

We offer an extremely high quality ivory sateen lining as standard on our curtains, this can be upgraded to a black-out lining if required. We also offer interlined curtains for extra insulation and that luxurious feel.

Do you have a showroom?

Yes, our showroom is located at Wainer Close in Lincoln LN6 3RY. It is strongly recommended for you to visit the showroom, especially if you are considering curtains or roman blinds as we offer over 10,000 fabrics to choose from, just far too many to bring to a home appointment.

Do you sell motorised curtains?

We supply and install our hand-made curtains with remote control curtain tracks and curtain poles. These can be operated via a handset, wall switch, smart phone/tablet or voice.
