Over the last 6 months Dobbs have fitted our whole house with curtains and blinds. We have had neat pleats on the bi-fold doors and french doors, motorised curtains, motorised blinds with pelmets and also cushions. The whole team have been amazing, and the quality is exceptional. Mitch came out to measure up and fit all our curtains and blinds and he is an absolute credit to Dobbs - he is so professional, polite and knowledgable. Next, we'll come to you! With a range of samples for you to look at while we measure for your perfect blinds.
We'll leave you with a quote which will be valid for 3 months and with no pressure to make a quick decision.
Once you're ready, give us a call to start arranging your home installation at a time that suits you!
On the installation day, our fitter will arrive at the time you've set and complete the installation. They will then show you the installed product working and answer any questions you may have. All our products will be installed to comply with child safety requirements and are covered by our 12-month guarantee.

Visit our showroom or call one of our local telephone numbers to arrange an appointment.
We visit your home to measure up and show you our fabric samples. We offer friendly & knowledgeable advice and guidance to ensure you make the correct decision.
We leave you with a written quotation which is valid for 3 months.
If you are happy with our quotation please get in touch, we will give you an installation appointment when you place your order. We require a deposit for some items and the balance payment is due when the products are installed.
On the installation day, our fitter will call at the arranged time to install the products. We will show you the installed product working and answer any questions you may have. All our products will be installed to comply with child safety requirements and are covered by our 12-month guarantee.

Are roller blinds child safe?

All our products are manufactured and installed to the latest child safety regulations.

Are there different size slats for wood venetian blinds?

We offer 35mm and 50mm wide slats, we strongly recommend 50mm slats because these allow more light into your room and look more stylish, even at smaller windows. At Dobbs 98% of all the wood venetian blinds we sell have 50mm slats.

Can awnings be recovered?

We offer a fabric recovering service for awnings. Prices start at £1400.

Can I have a shutter in my bathroom?

All shutter types are suitable for bathrooms which are well ventilated. For bathrooms or areas which are likely to become wet, we recommend our PVC shutter which is 100% waterproof.

Can I motorise my Roman Blind?

We offer motorisation for our roman blinds, The blind motor is powered by a re-chargeable battery which is hidden behind the blind. The additional cost for motorisation is £305 which includes the motor, rechargeable battery, charger plug and a single channel handset. With our Somfy Tahoma hub you can operate your blinds using your smart phone from anywhere in the world, you can program the blinds to operate at specific times or at twilight giving the impression you are at home.

Do you have a flyscreen solution for Bi-fold doors?

We can install our roller cassette flyscreens to large door openings up to 4500mm wide. A flyscreen this size will cost around £900.00

Do you have a showroom?

Yes, our showroom is located at Wainer Close in Lincoln LN6 3RY. It is strongly recommended for you to visit the showroom, especially if you are considering curtains or roman blinds as we offer over 10,000 fabrics to choose from, just far too many to bring to a home appointment.

Do you offer black-out roller blinds?

We offer 100's of black-out roller blind fabrics. Although the fabric is 100% black-out there will be light bleed around the edges of the blind and it will not result in a room totally darkened. We offer Cassetted black-out roller blinds which feature a metal headbox, side channels and bottom channel for those customers who require their bedroom to be extremely dark. Please be aware, we can never achieve 100% black-out with any of our products.

Do you sell motorised curtains?

We supply and install our hand-made curtains with remote control curtain tracks and curtain poles. These can be operated via a handset, wall switch, smart phone/tablet or voice.

How long do shutters take to be fitted?

Our most popular and comprehensive range of shutters are installed within 12 weeks. We offer a range of PVC shutters and Perfect Fit shutters which are typically installed within 3-4 weeks.
